  1. “Where Do We Go Now,” was one of the best dramas I have ever seen. The movie definitely is a must see. Seeing how one small village was divided in half by different religions made me feel uneasy because that’s how the real world is, but also seeing all the women trying to come together definitely showed how the world can live together in harmony without any hate. Of course the women in the movie used the weaknesses of their men to have them come together, but in end they succeeded. Also seeing all of the women’s pain crying over graves showed how the division in the village was causing more pain than success. Almost every day in the movie there was someone crying over their husband, brother, or even son and their pain had brought all of the women together to also bring everyone together.

  2. The movie "Where Do We Go Now" was definitely entertaining and encompassed a great message of tolerance on religion. I loved how comical the movie was in light of the serious subject matter. The women were very strategic in trying to maintain peace among the men. They were very successful in distracting the men from tense emotions that would lead to violence. Although they were successful in some areas, there was still a lot of violence that occurred outside of their village claiming one of their own, Nassim. The film was very powerful in striving to convey the message of unity and tolerance among differing religious views because violence is never the solution.

  3. It opened up with all of the women from the village doing some weird dance. At first I was confused by it. I thought it was strange that the 2 religions had been living together in this little village peacefully, but the graves were divided up by which religion they were. Also only the men were buried. So what happens to the women when they die? I liked how sneaky the women were and how they were able to stay calm when all the men wanted to do is shoot their neighbors. My favorite part is when they drudged all the men with the cookies. I thought it was cleaver how they all switched religions to end the fighting.

  4. I really enjoyed “Where Do We Go Now” it was a great drama to watch and my top choice for anyone seeing their first Arabic movie. It was tragic to see how such a small village could cause so much violence against one another for simply being Christian or Muslim, everything was divided even the graveyard. It was nice to see the women who have had enough of the fighting in their village and decided to make an effort to stop all of it. Although it did have a depressing ending with the accidental deaths of one of the sons and his funeral but overall I really enjoyed the movie.

Overall I liked the movie. One part I really enjoyed was the women plotting against the men to steal their guns. When they were making them all the food with the drugs, which was great. It was sad though that it took the death of that one young boy and the retaliation of the women for the men to see how divided they were and that they don’t need to be. They should be civil with one another. It was also said how the movie started with a funeral and ended with one. Although they were two different funerals, it was sad to see so many had died because of the differences.
