  2. I love how the video doesn't only focus on Qatar's past but also shows us it's Present as well. From being a colony under the Uk to gaining its independence in 1971, the video shows how Qatar has grown into its own modern self-governing country. I loved looking at the beautiful architecture displayed throughout the video. One thing that I found important in the video was how Qatar values cultural preservation, not just music and art but their old traditions as well.

  3. In the video I like how it describes the many activities that you can do in Qatar. It shows you places that you can go and visit and have a great time at. What I also like about the video is the many preserved sites that tourists can go too. It looks like Qatar is an open and inviting place to go and have a good time and experience the history as well as modern times. Also one thing that I did notice is some women in the video weren't wearing full hijabs.

  4. I enjoyed learning about all that Qatar (and particularly Doha) have to offer! I find the coastal expansion and the outdoor recreation (inland sea) most fascinating.

  5. I thought that Qatar Cultural Village was very interesting a visually appealing. The buildings looked modern, but had Arab accents and structure. US media makes places like Qatar seem like people aren't interested in music and nightlife, but that just isn't the case. They are just as adventurous and enthusiastic about parties like we are.

  6. I was just sending you the post that wouldn’t go through for the blog. “ I really enjoyed learning about falconing. I actually did not know that people could still do this activity. Additionally, I enjoyed learning about the horse races and landmarks. I find it very interesting that In this country the desert meets the sea.”
