  1. Jordan would probably be the most overlooked country on the map. I would have never guessed that it would be that beautiful and have that my sights to see. It was interesting to learn about there culture in various parts of the world. Everyone have such amazing sense of hospitality and it really shows. Since Dubai is first dream vacation, I will have to make Jordan my second.

  2. Every time I watch one of these videos I find myself to be more and more embarrassed. I have held long standing notions of what I believed the Middle East consisted of, and each time I find myself to be completely in the wrong. Jordan seems stunning, and makes me want to travel to the Middle East just to gain a greater perspective of how life really is around the world.

  3. Jordan to me was never on my list of places I wanted to travel too. It seemed to be in the midst of a lot of revolutionary activity all around it. However these videos have shown that the people seem to be fine and the image left by the ruler seems to be that of the most peaceful in the middle east. I also have always wanted to go to Petra. It is an amazing example of architecture anywhere.

  4. It is quite surprising that there are still places in today's world that hold to old traditions and preservation of them. The King of Jordan seems to be very active with the people and Jordan itself by having been in the Military and with the activities that he participates in. The History and appearance of Petra, Its amazing how they have preserved this city as well as others and respect the land as well. The citizens of Petra were quite amazing to be able to cut and carve the palace and all the detail in it. I have always been interested in Jordan a bit growing up and have always wanted to go there among all the other places I wish to go. Who knows maybe I will have to participate in skydiving there as well.

I've never looked much into Jordan so I was surprised to see how beautiful and historic it is! The cities and architecture are so wonderful! It is not what you would expect to see in such a desert. I was also very interested in how the head of state was sent to so many different places to gain education and training. I'm not sure how common that is but I thought it was a great idea. I would love the opportunity to visit all the history in Jordan.

  6. I think that it is really cool that w are able to get a glimpse of Jordan and it's beauty through the eyes of the king himself. It really does amaze me that a head of state actually does want to take time out of is day to film some of his adventures and what Jordan has to offer to a foreigner, especially one from the United States. I thin that it is very respectable because he wants to show the world that there are places in the middle east that are not attributed to war and chaos that we witness on television. Something that really captured my attention his how much the heads of this state have dealt with the west. For example, the king in this video gained education from the United States and was militarily trained in Britain. Some of the heads of Jordan even had wives from the west. The immense culture and history of Jordan is something that I would love to research more. It can't be easy, considering the fact of its location to major conflict areas in the middle east, for an Arabic country like Jordan to showcase its beauty to the rest of the world. It, like so many other countries of the middle east, are truly some of the word's hidden treasures.

  7. Jordan seems to be one of the least talked about Middle East countries. I did not expect that it would have such a beautiful landscape. Jordan also seems to be one of the few stable countries in an ever changing region. I would love to travel there and gain a better perspective of the country as a whole.

  8. Jordan has always been a country I have wanted to visit. The way the people have preserved traditions is inspiring. I was also impressed with the desert people. To hold to tradition so strongly is something to be commended. In addition to the desert people, the lost city of Petra was awe-inspiring. The architecture is beautiful.
